THE DESERT LEGEND SERIES

The "Desert Legends" series was initiated to preserve the legacy of the Egyptian Arabian and its foundation horses for future generations of breeders.  The series began in 2000 with a video honoring *Ansata Ibn Halima, which debuted at the Saturday evening grand Finale of the Egyptian Event.  The following year, a video tribute to *Morafic was completed, and in 2002 the Foundation celebrated the venerable foundation mare *Maaroufa.
The 2003 Desert Legend Honoree will be Nabiel (*Sakr X *Magidaa), and the Foundation is producing a video as part of the special celebration
of this distinguished stallion and his legacy.  The 1974 U.S. National Champion Futurity Colt and U.S. National Top Ten Stallion in 1975 and 1976, Nabiel was also a breeding barn superstar, siring 697 purebred registered foals. Among them are 12 National purebred winners, as well as 67 Egyptian Event, Class A, and regional purebred winners in halter, dressage, English pleasure, native costume, western pleasure, and endurance.
Pyramid Foundation secretary Cynthia Culbertson, of El Miladi

Arabian Stud, adds, " In Arabic, Nabiel's name is one of the very best!

Han's Wehr's  "A Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic" defines 'Nabiel' as:  'noble, exalted, sublime, patrician, generous, splendid, glorious'......a befitting description of the Foundation's 2003 Desert Legend."

The new Nabiel  video is available for $25.00 in VHS format and in DVD format for $40.00

Or you can purchase the entire "Desert Legend Series" on DVD for $100.00
